Objective

Be the first to empty your hand. The last player left holding cards loses. Roles are assigned by finish order and carry over to the next round.

Playing a Trick

• On an empty pile, lead any single card or set of cards of the same rank (pair, triple, etc.).
• To follow, play the same number of cards at a strictly higher rank.
• Pass if you can't or don't want to beat the pile.
• A single 2 beats anything — including pairs — and ends the trick immediately.
• The last player to play unbeaten wins the trick and leads next.

Roles (3+ players)

• President — finishes 1st
• Vice President — finishes 2nd
• Neutral — finishes in the middle
• Vice Wiper — finishes 2nd to last
• Wiper — finishes last

In 2-player games the roles are simply President and Wiper.

Card Trading (round 2+)

Before play begins, the Wiper gives their best 1–2 cards to the President, who returns any cards back. The Vice Wiper gives their best card to the Vice President, who returns one card.

Optional Rules

• One-time-around — Each player gets exactly one action per trick. The trick clears automatically and the last player to play leads next.
• Card trading — Enables the role-based card swap described above before each round.
• Auto-pass — Automatically passes your turn when you have no legal play.
• Conquest mode — First to 100 points wins the campaign. Scoring per round: 3+ players — 1st +10, 2nd +5, 3rd +1, last −1. 2-player — winner +10, loser +0.
• Extra card exchange — When the deck doesn't divide evenly, leftover cards form a kitty. After card trading, each player in role order may freely swap any of their cards for cards in the kitty, or skip.

Hold Hand (2-player option)

Three hands are dealt instead of two. The hold hand is dealt first, so it receives one extra card.

• Round 1: All three hands are dealt and the hold hand is set aside. Play begins normally — no swapping.
• Round 2+: Before card trading, the President sees their own hand and may swap their entire hand for the hold hand, sight unseen. Then the Wiper gets the same offer — whatever the hold hand contains at that point.
• After both players decide, the hold hand is discarded and normal card trading begins.
